Effective Date: 18 July 2026
When you purchase an item on Laraware Digital Marketplace, you receive a license — not ownership. Unless an item states otherwise, the following license types apply.
1. Regular License
- Use the item in a single end product for yourself or one client.
- The end product may be free or sold to end users, provided the item itself is not the primary product being redistributed.
- You may modify the item as needed for the end product.
- You may not redistribute the item as-is, resell source files, or use it in a product where the item is the core value offered for redistribution (e.g., stock/template marketplaces).
2. Extended License
- Includes Regular License rights, plus broader commercial redistribution rights where the end product containing the item may be sold to multiple customers (subject to the item’s category rules).
- Still does not allow reselling the unmodified source item as a competing marketplace product.
3. What You Never Get
- Trademark rights in Laraware or the author’s brand.
- Permission to claim authorship of the original item.
- Unlimited multi-domain / SaaS redistribution unless the Extended License and item description expressly allow it.
4. Purchase Codes
Each paid license is identified by a purchase code. Authors and buyers may verify codes via Laraware tools/API. Sharing purchase codes to enable unlicensed use is prohibited.
5. Free Items
Free items are subject to the Free Items Policy.
