Author Terms

Effective Date: 18 July 2026

These Author Terms supplement the Terms of Use and apply when you become an author on Laraware Digital Marketplace.

1. Becoming an Author

By enabling author status and uploading items, you enter a binding agreement with Laraware Private Limited. You confirm you are legally able to license the items you upload.

2. Your Items

• You retain ownership of your items. You grant Laraware a worldwide license to host, display, promote, and facilitate licensing of your items to buyers.
• You warrant that items are original or properly licensed, do not infringe third-party rights, and do not contain malware or unauthorized code.
• You must provide accurate descriptions, previews, support information, and documentation.

3. Licensing to Buyers

When a buyer purchases your item, you license that item directly to the buyer under Laraware’s published license types. You are not selling the IP itself.

4. Review & Quality

Items may be reviewed before publication. We may reject, suspend, or remove items that fail quality, security, or legal standards.

5. Earnings & Payouts

• Author earnings are calculated after marketplace fees/commissions as configured in your author settings.
• Payouts are subject to KYC, minimum thresholds, and payment-provider rules.
• Chargebacks, refunds, and fraud adjustments may be deducted from your balance.

6. Support Obligations

Where you offer support, you must respond reasonably and within any support period advertised with the item.

7. Termination

You may stop selling; Laraware may suspend author privileges for breaches. Existing buyer licenses remain valid according to their terms.
